Participant Agreement

1. Eligibility Requirements

I confirm that I meet all eligibility requirements for the Sri Lankan Avurudu Kumara & Kumariya 2025 contest.
I am between the ages of 16 and 30 on or before May 31, 2025.
I am a Sri Lankan citizen or of Sri Lankan descent, residing in one of the states of the UK.
I am willing and able to travel in and out of the UK freely, without any legal or visa restrictions.
- Be able to travel overseas and to Sri Lanka for the grand final.
- unmarried and be individual

I will behave in a disciplined and respectful manner throughout the competition.
I will attend all training sessions, rehearsals, and scheduled activities related to the pageant.
I will cooperate with event organizers, jury members, staff, and chaperones at all times.

The jury panel’s decision is final and cannot be challenged, criticized, or disputed (verbally, in writing, or on social media).
Contestants will be scored from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest.
In the event of a tie, the top 3 contestants will be re-evaluated by the judges to determine the final winner.

I grant permission for my photograph, video, voice recording, and name to be used without charge for publicity and commercial purposes.
I understand that I may appear on social media, television, and other promotional materials related to the event.

I will not consume alcohol (if over 21) or smoke in public while representing the pageant.
The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.

The organizers, sponsors, and jury members are not responsible for any personal injury or damages that may occur during the competition.
If I am selected as an at-large contestant, I understand that my entry fee and travel expenses will be my own responsibility.

I understand that after 05/04/2025, I may not withdraw from the competition unless there is a valid reason.
With this application, I am submitting a non-refundable application fee of 100 GBP. If I am not selected for the second round, I will receive a refund of the application fee.

If the winner fails to comply with the rules, terms, or obligations, the organizing committee has the right to revoke the title and reassign it to the runner-up.
In such a case, the contestant must return the crown, banner, and all prizes in the same condition received.
